Pure Catering is a family of food lovers based in Woolloongabba that band together to bring you the most professional catered events, with a personal touch, and course, food that is beyond your expectations.

Our team is comprised of seasoned event managers, wedding planners, chefs and stylists – everything you need to make your next corporate or social event a complete success. Our incredibly talented team have been hand picked to deliver the best possible food in Brisbane.
Our Chefs bring a wealth of culinary expertise to the Pure Catering brand, and continue to impress with high quality, innovative dishes that always deliver.

Hailing from Old London town, Jamie has been Pure Catering’s Head Chef for the last five years. Honing his craft under the tutelage of Albert Roux, Jamie is classically trained and has had the honour of cooking for some of the world’s elite, including members of the Royal Family, Sir David Attenborough and the Rothschilds.  With knowledge of a vast array of cuisines and experiences from private members clubs, award winning gastro pubs, luxury caterers to gourmet food trucks, Jamie’s passion is to approach each event as a unique dining experience, mixing modern technique with classical skill.

Our fabulous Chef’s lead a team of talented and dedicated kitchen staff to ensure all of our catering is to the highest of standards in flavour, presentation and food safety.

Operations Manager - Rachelle Lamb

Rachelle is certainly the complete (food) package – she is highly qualified with a double degree in Dietetics and Nutrition, and a qualified chef, having completed her apprenticeship in Melbourne working for some of the largest national and multinational organisations. Currently Pure Caterings Operations Manager, Rachelle combines her training and expertise coordinating large scale kitchen operations as well as her love of everything nutrition to create tailored concepts that suit the individual dietary needs of the client. She is also responsible for the daily operations that gets the food from our kitchen to your tables, seamlessly and on time.

  • Another import, Vinny is Pure Caterings favourite Scotsman. From seafood to European, fine dining to food truck, Vinny has had extensive experience both in Australia and Scotland. His previous involvement as a partner in a private catering business makes him the perfect fit for Pure Catering, with skill in a multitude of event styles, including sporting events and theatrical openings (one in particular was attended by Prince Edward!) In Australia Vinny has been Head Chef of an award winning seafood restaurant, which when combined with his passion for smoking and BBQing makes him our resident fishmonger and butcher.

  • The glue that holds our kitchen together, John has lived and breathed hospitality. His experience ranges from catering to cafes, nightclubs to restaurants and everything in between, John has done it all. From cooking, prepping, packing and cleaning, John is Pure Caterings Queen of Clean, responsible for keeping everything spick and span, keeping the team inline, as well as providing us with much needed comic relief.
